At the time, founder Jonathan Kirchner was visiting a tech client in the Big Apple, enjoying some espresso and a laugh with some candidates he had recently placed (seen here). 

It dawned on him that recruiting had lost its heart and more than that, was inefficient and difficult for clients to get results fast without sacrificing quality. Recruiting needed a fresh start, one that could bridge the gap between the clients and the candidates.

This meant completely re-imagining what it could look like to connect the best technology with the best people, and that is exactly what Jobfuture set out to do.
